TechTarget Playbook

Last week TechTarget hosted the On-line ROI Summit in San Francisco, California. They had me on a panel of software application developers.

At the conference Byrony Seifert of TechTarget gave a case study of Sun's use of on-line marketing to get the word out about Java Business Integration (JBI.) After the presentation Byrony gave a copy of the "ROI Best Practices Playbook for Online Marketers". I read it cover-to-cover and got excited.

I used the Playbook to revise the PushToTest Web site over the past couple of days. Our site now features new pages that present sales/benefits information for each of our audience members: software developers, QA testers, and CIOs now have their own place to go.

Also, note the updated graphic and navigation on the home page.

I recommend high-tech marketers get their hands on the Playbook by contacting TechTarget. It helped us greatly!
