The "Unconference" Before JavaOne

by Frank Cohen — last modified Mar 30, 2008 12:05 PM

Charles Nutter of Sun let me know about a RedMonk "unconference" around the CommunityOne event that Sun will be hosting the day before JavaOne opens on May 7, 2007. The event is free and it looks like Charlie will be organizing talks on dynamic languages and the future of the JVM at the "unconference".

The idea of an "unconference" sounds like something that would exist in the Silicon Valley in 2007! The topics will be decided the morning of the event. So it could be pretty wild. I put in a proposal to talk about PushToTest TestMaker version 5. We will be in "beta" testing by then and I will be at JavaOne showing off our new baby.

If this moves you to participate, then please do!
