Cloud Test Configurator Utility
TestMaker provides a Cloud Test Configurator Utility to identify cloud provider specific security tokens, names, and parameters. TestMaker provides integrated clients for Amazon EC2 and Collabnet Cubit Cloud Testing environments.
Amazon EC2 Configurator Utility for TestMaker
Use the EC2 Cloud Configurator utility to deploy your test to an Amazon EC2 Cloud. Access the utility in the TestMaker Tools drop-down menu Amazon EC2 Configurator command. The utility appears in a new window.
The File drop-down menu controls opening and saving EC2 configuration files. The Tools drop-down menu provides functions to manage TestNode instances in the Amazon EC2 service, including options to view a list of running instances, start and stop instances, and reboot instances. Use the Cloud Configuration and Machine Profile Configuration tabs to set the configuration file settings.
TestMaker provides the following options to run tests in a Cloud Testing environment.
- Account Name is the account name by which TestMaker securely communicates with the Amazon EC2 service.
- AWS Access Key is a special security key to access the EC2 service.
- AWS Secret Access Key is the desired quantity of TestNode instances.
- AMI is an Amazon Machine Instance (AMI) file.
- Instance Type determines the type of server to use. PushToTest customers use c1.small or c1.medium instances.
- Key Pair identifies groups of running TestNodes by user or department.
- Security Group identifies a security profile, including firewall access to ports on the TestNode.

Collabnet Cubit Configurator Utility for TestMaker
Collabnet Lab Management (Formerly CUBIT) enables IT users to configure software development and operations environments, upload software assets, set up and tear down lab environments, and manage projects. Lab Management integrates with TeamForge (formerly Source Forge Enterprise) for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM.) Lab Management provisions from a pool of virtual and physical servers in your private corporate data center or a public cloud, including Amazon EC2.

Amazon EC2 AMI Profile for TestNode and PTTMonitor
PushToTest provides public Amazon Machine Imagine (AMI) files for the TestNode/PTTMonitor. The profiles are completely configured TestNode and PTTMonitor instances.
