TOPIC: Editor not working on Debian x64
#1011
Editor not working on Debian x64 1 Year, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
It seems this issue has been replicated over the latest versions of Ubuntu.

I\'ve tried installing the comunity version of TestMaker, but when I try to open the Editor, a window attempting to install it, tries to connect to somewhere in order to download the components of the Editor but... a Download failed: The requested URL returned error: 404 message is shown.
I said OK let\'s try looking somewhere else, then I downloaded the TestMaker from ci.pushtotest.com... the Editor didn\'t even shown itself. OK again I downloaded the svn repo and compiled the Editor, then replaced the files in my <TestMakerPath>/Editor and nothing... even when I try to run it via terminal it outputs the following

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module \"canberra-gtk-module\": /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

Same problem with the newly released community version of testmaker 6.1 on Ubuntu 10.04. The editor did however install and run very well in version 6.01 on the same OS.

Looks like I have to go back to using 601...

Re: Editor not working on RHEL 6.2 (was Debian x64 1 Year, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi all. I just downloaded and installed TestMaker 6.1 on RHEL 6.2 Workstation and am seeing the same problem described in this post. Whether I try and start the editor from the command line, or if I click on any of the new load, funcational, monitor or record buttons a dialog opens for the Editor installer. The Editor installer dialog box has the information fro mthe license.txt file \"Place your license text here. This file will be incorporated with your app at package time.\" If you try and contimue and install to your home directory you get the \"Download failed: The requested URL returned error: 404\" error message. If you change the download location to /opt/titanium it appears nothing happens. When starting the Editor from the command line you do get the following information:

/home/tony/PushToTest_TestMaker/Editor/installer/installer: /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4: no version information available (required by /home/tony/PushToTest_TestMaker/Editor/installer/installer)

(installer:3240): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_scale_simple: assertion `dest_width > 0\' failed

I\'ve attached a screenshot as well.

BTW - my Java version is

java version \"1.6.0_22\"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.10.4) (rhel-1.42.1.10.4.el6_2-i386)
OpenJDK Client VM (build 20.0-b11, mixed mode)

Thanks!
Tony
